Helping B2B technology companies tell customer stories that build trust
A selection of my case study and customer success story work.
I work across B2B technology sectors because the skill lies in telling your prospects the story of how your solution can help them.
Case studies and customer stories
🔹Case Study. Security for Hybrid Working. How a UK firm secured staff working off-site without making the tools too complicated to use, which is always the real trade-off between security and usability. And an unexpected benefit. A sample, written to show how I handle the human side of a technical subject.
🔹Case Study. Brand & More. How a CRM consolidation project turned scattered legacy data into a competitive advantage, and the hidden customer insights they found once they could see the whole picture. A sample, written to show how I approach a technical, data-heavy story.
🔹Case Study. The Main Hotel. How a hotel group found new revenue in guest data they already had, giving a small hotel the opportunity to get more from their own data than they expected. A sample, written to show how I make an AI-and-data story easy to follow.
Scenario-Based and Narrative Content
🔹Three 90-second microlearning videos on phishing scams. These cover three different real-life scenarios: hackers exploiting a major event, an employee working from home who needs to access sensitive information, and a compromised banking login.
🔹Tech Security Insights. A two-page customer newsletter including an article (how to protect your AI), practical tips (your human firewall and the importance of regular digital cleanups) and a true tall story (hackers hacking hackers. Don’t try and say that too quickly!)
🔹eLearning course. What’s your password personality? A quiz-based approach to finding out what type of password personality you are. You can then learn how to create passwords that work for you. Rather than ones that you’ll never remember.
🔹eLearning course. Hiding in Plain Sight: Drive-by Malware. Help Tom as hackers try three methods to access his devices. Each scenario has three choices, with incorrect choices giving you easy-to-follow advice to help prevent your device from being compromised.
🔹eLearning course. Phone Phishing Scams. Use the smartphone to learn about five sneaky tactics hackers use to get access to mobile phones. Also included is a ‘why this works’ option that explains how hackers use our brains against us.
Before and After Content
Making Complexity Clear: Business Intelligence. A business intelligence company had the expertise its prospects needed, but it struggled to explain the solution in a way that prospects could understand. Working with their experts, I made the business case for their product, explaining technical information in business terms so their prospects could see how it would help them.
Making Complexity Clear: Zero Trust Security. A cyber security company wanted to explain how zero-trust works for an executive, decision-making audience. Working with their experts, I examined the main areas most likely to interest their readers and suggested first steps for adopting zero trust.
